How to Support Born Again Outdoors

I started Born Again Outdoors to share experiences - simple as that. Writing has been my outlet since I was a teenager, and I wish I had more time to do it. Sadly, it’s also been a struggle at times to do consistently; life just gets in the way. I have an extremely physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and even creatively draining day job that tends to make it difficult for me to find energy to do anything creative on the weekends or evenings. Since starting Born Again Outdoors, it’s been very difficult to find time or energy to post consistently, But goddamn, I’m trying.
I want to do this - and my many other current business endeavors - full time. I know that seems insane to say with a small following, but so is most of the shit I write about. Sometimes, I get around to making it happen. If you enjoy my writing or my social media content, there are a few things you can do to help me out.
1) Read the Articles, Follow the Socials
This one’s a no-brainer. If you aren’t already, follow me; I am not posting as much right now with it being the busiest time of year in my day job, but I am doing my best to make that change. To force it to change. Simply by reading the articles I post or following my Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, or Twitch accounts, you are helping by engaging with my content in a way that tells the algorithm to push me to more people. That’s how this project grows.
2) Buy from my Affiliate Links
That’s right - this blog is monetized now. As of… literally today. It was the whole impetus for me writing this post. I now have the ability to actually make money on affiliate links from Amazon. And the coolest part is: you can do this completely passively. Here’s what you can do:
Next time you plan to buy anything - and I mean anything - on Amazon, use my affiliate links before you do it. It doesn’t matter what product is actually linked to. If you click one of my affiliate links, I’ll get credit for anything you buy for 24 hours, at absolutely no cost to you. Click my link to AA Batteries and buy toilet paper. Click a link to duct tape and buy a space shuttle. Click a link to a flashlight and buy a… well, you get the idea. It costs you nothing and it helps me out to keep this whole thing in motion and maybe get it off the ground as a full time endeavor, simple as that. That means more content created for you to enjoy, and maybe learn from.
3) Spread the Word
Born Again Outdoors wouldn’t be possible at all without people following it. If you enjoy my writing or other content. and think someone else you know would too, tell them! Send a video or article to a friend. Tag someone in a post. Mention us to that one coworker or cousin who’s been talking about getting into hunting for three years but doesn’t know where to start. Tell him there’s some dumbass on the internet who was in the same position and writes about it. The more eyes Born Again Outdoors reaches, the faster this dream becomes real.
